Key Account Manager to join their thriving team based in
Crawley.The Role:As a Key Account Manager, you'll be responsible for managing and nurturing a portfolio of key distribution network accounts. Your goal will be to drive revenue growth, build long-term partnerships, and ensure a seamless customer experience throughout the sales cycle.
This is a varied role that blends relationship management, strategic sales development, and customer service, perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, client-facing environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage a portfolio of key accounts within the distribution network, maintaining strong and lasting relationships
- Proactively identify, develop, and close new sales opportunities, with a focus on upselling and cross-selling tailored solutions
- Develop a deep understanding of each customer's business, challenges, and objectives to align product and service offerings accordingly
- Prepare and deliver regular reports on key metrics, forecasts, and sales performance
- Take ownership of sales targets, KPIs, and revenue growth objectives
- Represent the company at trade shows and industry events, promoting the brand, expertise, and product range
- Support the administration of accounts - including order processing, quotation preparation, and onboarding new customers
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify new opportunities
- Act as a liaison between clients and the innovation team, providing valuable feedback and insights
- Resolve customer queries and challenges quickly and professionally with a customer-centric approach
About You:- Proven experience as a Key Account Manager or in a similar sales or business development role
- Strong understanding of the sales process with a solid record of achieving sales targets
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills
- Able to engage and influence a wide range of stakeholders
- Highly organised, self-motivated, and capable of managing your own pipeline
- A strong customer focus with a genuine passion for delivering outstanding service
- Technical aptitude is an advantage
- Full UK driving licence required
