Job Description
Are you an experienced Customer Service professional looking for a varied role where you can build strong customer relationships, solve problems and play a key part in converting enquiries into sales?
We’re working on behalf of an established and growing construction equipment supplier who are looking for a Customer Service Coordinator to join their team in Horley, where, you’ll play a key role in supporting existing customers throughout the sales and order process — from handling initial enquiries and preparing quotations through to processing orders and resolving any delivery queries.
This is a genuinely varied position with an ever growing & developing organisation, so if you enjoy having plenty to get stuck into, building rapport with customers and finding solutions when things don’t quite go to plan, this could be a great opportunity for you!

The Role
- Handling incoming customer enquiries via phone and email, understanding requirements and recommending suitable products
- Preparing quotations and converting enquiries into sales orders
- Processing orders accurately using product codes / SKUs
- Liaising with internal teams and suppliers to ensure orders are processed and delivered smoothly
- Managing delivery queries, including investigating missing or damaged deliveries and finding suitable solutions
- Building strong customer relationships and keeping customers updated throughout the order and delivery process
- Maintaining accurate CRM records and managing multiple customer enquiries, orders and priorities
The Person:
- Previous experience within a similar role, ideally within a product-led environment
- Excellent customer service and relationship-building skills, with the ability to understand customer requirements and build strong rapport
- High attention to detail, particularly when working with product codes, SKUs, quotations and orders
- Strong problem-solving and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple enquiries and priorities
- Commercially aware, with the confidence to handle quotations and convert enquiries into sales
- Confident using CRM systems and computer-based systems, with excellent communication skills and a proactive approach
What's on Offer?
- Salary between £29,000 - £32,000pa DOE
- Monday to Friday, 8.30am–5.30pm
