Pertemps are recruiting for an experienced Adult’s Social Work Team Manager in West London
This is to manage a Community Mental Health Team
Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage Community Mental Health Locality Teams within Adult Social Care.
• Ensure compliance with the Care Act, Mental Health Act, Mental Capacity Act and associated legislation.
• Manage service performance against key performance indicators, quality standards and financial targets.
• Oversee a specialist dual diagnosis function supporting adults with complex mental health and substance misuse needs.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with NHS partners, voluntary sector organisations and other stakeholders.
• Provide professional leadership, supervision and support to social workers and multidisciplinary staff.
• Lead workforce development, recruitment, retention, performance management and succession planning.
• Promote safeguarding, risk management and best practice across the service.
• Support newly qualified social workers through the ASYE programme and mentor staff undertaking professional development pathways.
• Participate in out-of-hours and on-call arrangements where required.
