Pay rate to £37 per hour

Vitalis are recruiting for an experienced Social Worker to work in a Kinship/SGO Team in Bolton Council. 
The candidate will have post qualifying experience in working with and supporting kinship carers and Special Guardians and have experience of the following

• Undertake assessments of Kinship Carers and Special Guardians
• Undertake annual reviews and other reviews as required to evaluate and monitor the care of looked after children provided by Kinship carers
• Provide ongoing supervision and support to ensure the care of looked after children is of the highest quality
• Identify any support, training, and preparation to develop the skills of carers further
• Advising and assisting colleagues to place individual children with Kinship carers and substitute families
• Attend reviews, case conferences, strategy meetings and network meetings as and when required and to provide the appropriate advice, information, and support for such forums
• Organise Kinship fostering information and advisory service for both colleagues and members of the public.

We operate a hybrid working arrangement, however candidates must be able to be office based in Bolton or undertake visits to meet service needs.
