Head of Facilities Management & Compliance
Location: North West London
Rate: £570 per day (Umbrella)
Contract: 3-month ongoing contract
Working Pattern: Hybrid

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Head of Facilities Management & Compliance to join a busy Local Authority in North West London on an interim basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for a senior FM professional to lead the delivery of both Hard and Soft Facilities Management services while ensuring statutory compliance across a diverse property portfolio. You will also play a key role in supporting the implementation of a new Facilities Management service structure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the delivery of Hard and Soft Facilities Management services across the organisation.
    • Ensure all statutory compliance requirements are met and maintained across the property portfolio.
    • Support the implementation of the new Facilities Management service structure.
    • Provide strategic leadership to Facilities Management and Compliance teams.
    • Oversee contractor performance and ensure service delivery meets agreed standards and KPIs.
    • Develop and implement policies, procedures and best practice across FM and compliance functions.
    • Work collaboratively with senior stakeholders to improve service delivery and operational performance.
    • Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, health and safety requirements and industry standards.
    • Manage budgets, resources and contracts effectively.
About You
  • Significant experience leading Hard and Soft Facilities Management services.
    • Strong knowledge of statutory compliance within a property or corporate estate environment.
    • Experience supporting organisational change and service transformation.
    • Proven leadership and people management experience.
    • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
    • Previous experience working within a Local Authority is essential.
    • Able to hit the ground running in a fast-paced environment.
