What does a Beauty Salon Manager do?
Beauty salon managers oversee the daily operations and staff management in a beauty salon. They ensure customer satisfaction, budget control and inventory management. Beauty salon managers set up and enforce salon rules and cleanliness guidelines. They are also in charge of promoting the salon to attract new clients.
Tasks required include:
- Checks and maintains any equipment, and ensures that all safety requirements are met.
- Controls the allocation, training and remuneration of staff.
- Demonstrates, advises on and sells hair and/or beauty products.
- Determines staffing, financial, material and other short- and long-term needs.
- Ensures clients’ records are maintained.
- Ensures financial accounts for the business are maintained.

- Undertakes and/or directs hair treatments and/or beauty therapy.
What are the entry requirements for a Beauty Salon Manager ?
