Labourer / Telehandler
Location: Brough
Pay Rate: £13.45 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30am – 4:00pm
Start Date: ASAP
Contract: 8 weeks
About the Role
We are currently recruiting for a reliable and hardworking Labourer / Telehandler Operator with a valid Telehandler Licence to join a busy site in Brough.The successful candidate will be working as part of a team on a project involving the construction of a new greenhouse extension.This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for an immediate start and weekday work. The role will involve a combination of general site labouring duties and operating a telehandler to move materials around the site when required.
Key Responsibilities
We are looking for someone who is reliable, hardworking and willing to get stuck in. You should be comfortable carrying out physical labouring duties alongside operating a telehandler and supporting different trade teams across the site.

Key Responsibilities
- Carrying out general labouring duties across the site
- Assisting trade teams with their day to day activities
- Fetching, carrying and moving materials around the site
- Operating the telehandler to move and distribute materials when required
- Loading, unloading and positioning materials safely
- Keeping work areas clean, tidy and free from hazards
- Supporting general site housekeeping and hygiene
- Following instructions from the Site Manager and trade supervisors
- Working safely and responsibly at all times
- Carrying out any other reasonable general site duties as required
- Monday to Friday
- 7:30am – 4:00pm
- £13.45 per hour
- 30-minute unpaid lunch break
- Immediate start available
- 8-week contract
- Valid Telehandler Licence essential
- Previous site labouring experience preferred
- Experience operating a telehandler on a cnstruction site
- Reliable and punctual
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual work
- Able to work effectively as part of a team
- Good understanding of site health & safety
- Able to follow instructions and work safely
- High-vis clothing and safety footwear required
