  Teachers of the Deaf teach children with a hearing loss. They provide support to deaf children, their parents and family, and to other professionals who are involved with a child’s education.

  Tasks required include:

  • Creates a safe, stimulating and supportive learning environment for students.
  • Assesses student’s abilities, identifies student’s needs and devises curriculum and rota of teaching duties accordingly.
